Intent-based bridge

Relay

Relay moves and swaps coins between networks, usually in seconds. You say what you want, and a pays you on the destination network right away from its own funds. The solver settles up with Relay afterwards.

Official website

How it works

  1. 1You make a request and deposit your funds on the starting network.
  2. 2A solver sends you the coin you asked for on the destination network from its own stock.
  3. 3Once your deposit is checked, the solver gets paid back.

Trust model

You rely on the solver only for the few seconds it takes to fill your request. Paying the solver back depends on Relay correctly checking your deposit.

Strengths

  • Fast, usually a few seconds.
  • Adds new networks quickly.

Limitations

  • How much you can move at once depends on how much the solvers hold.
