Solana to Hyperliquid bridge
Hyperliquid's own deposit only accepts USDC from Arbitrum, so Solana funds need a bridge. Mayan, Relay and Across can deliver USDC to your Hyperliquid trading balance in one step. To hold SOL on Hyperliquid, deposit native SOL through Unit, which credits USOL. Unit's minimum is 0.12 SOL.

Short answer
Hyperliquid accounts are EVM addresses, so you need an EVM wallet address (starting with 0x) as the receiving account even if your funds sit in a Solana wallet like Phantom. The bridge sends from Solana and credits that 0x address on Hyperliquid.
There are two common goals. If you want USDC to trade perps, use a bridge that deposits directly to HyperCore. If you want SOL itself on Hyperliquid, use Unit, which holds SOL on Solana and issues USOL on Hyperliquid.
| Native deposit chain | Arbitrum only (USDC) |
|---|---|
| SOL deposits | Unit, credited as USOL |
| Unit minimum | 0.12 SOL |
| Receiving account | EVM address (0x) |
| Gas on Solana | Small SOL fee |
Why this route is difficult
Hyperliquid's native bridge is built for USDC on Arbitrum. Solana is not connected directly, so every route relies on a third party bridge or on Unit.
Hyperliquid has two layers, HyperCore for trading and HyperEVM for smart contracts. Some bridges deliver only to HyperEVM, which is a common source of confusion.
Possible approaches
1Direct deposit to HyperCore
Mayan, Relay or Across take USDC or another token on Solana and credit USDC on HyperCore.
Trade-offOne transaction, but you rely on the bridge's route and quote.
2Native asset via Unit
Deposit SOL to a Unit address and receive USOL on Hyperliquid.
Trade-offYou keep SOL exposure, but it depends on Unit's guardians and the 0.12 SOL minimum.
3Two steps via Arbitrum
Move USDC from Solana to Arbitrum with CCTP, then use Hyperliquid's own deposit.
Trade-offUses well known bridges, but needs ETH on Arbitrum and a 5 USDC minimum deposit.
Options compared
| Option | You get | Typical time | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mayan, Relay or Across to HyperCore | USDC in your Hyperliquid balance | Seconds to minutes | Built into the quote | Trading perps quickly |
| Unit | USOL on Hyperliquid | Depends on Solana confirmations and Unit processing | Network fee | Holding or trading SOL spot |
| CCTP to Arbitrum, then native deposit | USDC in your Hyperliquid balance | Minutes, two steps | Solana and Arbitrum fees | Using only Circle and Hyperliquid's own bridge |
Working solutions
| Solution | You receive | Custody / verification | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mayan | USDC on HyperCore spot or perps | Non custodial, auction based routes | Deposits into HyperCore from supported chains, Solana included. |
| Relay | USDC in Hyperliquid perps | Relayers fill and settle | Deposits to Hyperliquid perps from any chain Relay supports. |
| Across | USDC on HyperCore | Intent based relayers | Named by CoinGecko among the common ways to reach Hyperliquid from Solana. |
| Unit | USOL on Hyperliquid | 2 of 3 guardians: Unit, Hyperliquid Labs, Infinite Field | For native SOL. Minimum 0.12 SOL, smaller deposits are lost. |
| LI.FI (Jumper) | Depends on the chosen route | Depends on the underlying bridge | Aggregator that compares several bridges. Check that the destination is HyperCore. |
| deBridge | Tokens on HyperEVM | Solvers via the DLN network | Delivers to HyperEVM, not to the trading balance. Move funds to HyperCore before trading. |
How to move Solana to Hyperliquid
Bridge USDC from Solana to HyperCore
- 1
Prepare the receiving address
Have an EVM wallet you control, for example MetaMask or Rabby, and connect it once at app.hyperliquid.xyz. This 0x address is your Hyperliquid account.
- 2
Pick a bridge that supports HyperCore
Open Mayan, Relay or Across. Choose Solana as the source and Hyperliquid (HyperCore or perps) as the destination, not HyperEVM.
- 3
Enter amount and address
Connect Phantom or another Solana wallet, enter the amount and paste your 0x Hyperliquid address. Check the amount you will receive in the quote.
- 4
Confirm and check the balance
Sign the Solana transaction. When the bridge reports completion, the USDC appears in your Hyperliquid trading balance.
Fees and timing
The Solana transaction fee is usually a fraction of a cent, but keep some SOL in the wallet to pay it.
Bridges build their fee and any swap cost into the quote. Compare the final USDC amount across Mayan, Relay and Across before signing.
Unit deducts the network fee from the deposit. Amounts under the 0.12 SOL minimum are not credited and are lost.
Common mistakes
- Sending SOL to Unit below the 0.12 SOL minimum. Hyperliquid's docs say such deposits are lost.
- Choosing HyperEVM as the destination when you want to trade. HyperEVM and HyperCore have separate balances, and funds on HyperEVM must be moved before you can trade perps.
- Pasting a Solana address as the Hyperliquid recipient. The receiving account must be an EVM 0x address.
Before you transfer
- Test with a small amount first, especially on a route you have not used before.
- Check the destination layer in the bridge interface. HyperCore is for trading, HyperEVM is for apps and needs HYPE for gas.
- Trading on HyperCore costs no gas, so you do not need HYPE to place orders.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, through a bridge such as Mayan, Relay or Across. You sign on Solana with Phantom, but the receiving Hyperliquid account must be an EVM 0x address.
Use Unit in the Hyperliquid app. It gives you a Solana deposit address and credits USOL. The minimum is 0.12 SOL.
HyperCore holds your trading balance and trades cost no gas. HyperEVM runs smart contracts and uses HYPE for gas. Their balances are separate.
No. That button takes USDC on Arbitrum. From Solana you either use a bridge or move USDC to Arbitrum first.
