Linea Bridge: how to bridge to and from Linea

Linea is a zero-knowledge rollup on Ethereum. Its official bridge relies on validity proofs, so withdrawals finish once a proof is accepted on Ethereum, usually within hours rather than a week. Fast bridges still deliver sooner.

Quick answer

Services supporting Linea: 11. Most used in our guides: LI.FI, Across, Circle CCTP, Relay. Direct transfers possible to: Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, TRON, Hyperliquid.

Popular services

  • LI.FI

LI.FI is an aggregator. It compares many bridges and exchanges and picks the best route for your transfer. Many wallets and apps build it in. Jumper, a website for regular users that started inside LI.FI, runs on it.

  • Across

Across moves coins between Ethereum, its layer 2 networks and several other chains, usually in seconds. You send funds on one network, and an independent relayer pays you on the other side from its own money. The relayer gets paid back later, so you do not have to wait.

  • Circle CCTP

CCTP is run by Circle, the company that issues USDC. It moves real USDC between networks: Circle destroys the coins on one side and creates the same amount on the other. You end up with genuine USDC, not a wrapped copy.

  • Relay

Relay moves and swaps coins between networks, usually in seconds. You say what you want, and a solver pays you on the destination network right away from its own funds. The solver settles up with Relay afterwards.

Alternative ways to move funds

The official rollup bridge

The bridge run by Linea itself relies only on Ethereum and the rollup. It is the safest option, but withdrawals to Ethereum are slower than with third-party bridges.

Move stablecoins instead

Converting to USDC or USDT and moving it through the issuer’s own transfer protocol often has the widest coverage and the least slippage. Swap back on the destination if you need another asset.

Through a centralised exchange

Deposit on Linea, trade if needed, and withdraw on the destination network. Simple and often cheap, but the exchange holds your funds in between and needs identity verification.

Two steps through a well-connected chain

If no single route exists, first move to a chain with many connections (Ethereum, Solana or a major rollup), then on to the destination. It costs two fees, but each step uses a well-tested route.

How transfers work on Linea

  • The official bridge is the most trust-minimised route to and from Ethereum.
  • Liquidity bridges and intent networks cover most rollup-to-rollup routes in minutes.
  • Stablecoins can move through issuer transfer protocols where Linea is supported.

What to watch out for

  • Proof and finalisation times vary between rollups and can grow during busy periods.
  • Smaller rollups are supported by fewer bridges, so compare quotes before you send.

Frequently asked questions

How can I bridge from Linea?

11 of the projects we review support Linea, including Across, Circle CCTP, deBridge. We have 2 route guides that involve Linea.

Which major chains can I reach from Linea directly?

Directly: Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, TRON, Hyperliquid. Other destinations need two steps or an exchange.

What if there is no bridge for my Linea route?

Use a centralised exchange, take two steps through a well-connected chain such as Ethereum or Solana, or move a stablecoin instead and swap on arrival.
