Mayan swaps tokens between Solana and Ethereum-style networks in one step. It runs on Wormhole messaging. bid against each other in an auction to fill your swap, which pushes the price in your favor.

How it works

  1. 1You choose the token you give on one network and the token you want on the other.
  2. 2In Swift mode, solvers bid in an auction to deliver your token. The winner pays you on the destination network.
  3. 3Wormhole carries the messages that settle the deal. For USDC, Mayan can also use Circle CCTP.

Trust model

You are trusting Wormhole’s Guardians to pass settlement messages honestly. On USDC routes that use CCTP, you are trusting Circle.

Strengths

  • Swap any supported token for any other between Solana and Ethereum-style networks in one step.

Limitations

  • No Bitcoin support.
  • If Wormhole has a security problem, Mayan is affected too.
