Polygon to Hyperliquid Bridge
Hyperliquid's own bridge only accepts USDC from Arbitrum. From Polygon you deposit through Circle CCTP or intent bridges that credit USDC straight to your Hyperliquid account.

Short answer
Most people moving money from Polygon to Hyperliquid want to trade perpetuals. Margin there is USDC, so almost every route comes down to one thing: getting USDC onto your HyperCore trading balance.
The Deposit button in Hyperliquid uses a bridge contract on Arbitrum and does not accept funds from Polygon directly. Circle, however, says HyperCore deposits work from any CCTP chain, and Polygon is one of them. Across, Relay and Mayan can also credit USDC to Hyperliquid straight from Polygon.
Hyperliquid has two parts: HyperCore with the trading account, and HyperEVM, an Ethereum-compatible network with gas in HYPE. Check where your funds will land before you send.
| Direct official bridge | No, Hyperliquid's bridge only works with Arbitrum |
|---|---|
| Native USDC | Via Circle CCTP |
| Minimum deposit | 5 USDC |
| Gas on Polygon | POL |
| Gas on HyperEVM | HYPE |
Why this route is difficult
Polygon PoS is a separate Ethereum-compatible network, while Hyperliquid is its own blockchain. Hyperliquid's own bridge only connects it to Arbitrum.
That is why deposits from Polygon use CCTP and bridges that work with HyperCore directly.
Possible approaches
1Native USDC via CCTP
Circle burns USDC on Polygon and mints it on Hyperliquid.
Trade-offUSDC only, usually through an app or wallet with CCTP.
2Intent bridge
A solver or relayer credits USDC on Hyperliquid right away and then collects your funds on Polygon.
Trade-offFast and you can start from POL, but the fee depends on the quote.
3Via Arbitrum
Move USDC to Arbitrum first, then press Deposit in Hyperliquid.
Trade-offTwo steps and two sets of fees.
Options compared
| Option | You get | Typical time | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Circle CCTP | Native USDC on HyperCore | Depends on app and mode | Polygon gas plus app fee, if any | USDC already on Polygon |
| Intent bridge (Across, Relay, Mayan) | USDC on HyperCore or HyperEVM | Seconds to minutes | Bridge fee in the quote | POL or another token on Polygon |
| Via Arbitrum | USDC on the trading account | Two transfers | Two sets of fees | If you prefer the Deposit button |
Working solutions
| Solution | You receive | Custody / verification | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Circle CCTP | Native USDC on HyperCore | Circle attestation | Circle says HyperCore deposits work from any CCTP chain. Hyperliquid's docs call CCTP the preferred method. |
| Across | USDC on HyperCore or HyperEVM | Relayer fronts funds | Direct route to Hyperliquid. You can send POL and the bridge swaps it on the way. |
| Relay | USDC for perps or spot | Solver fronts funds | Relay's docs describe deposits to a Hyperliquid account from supported chains. |
| Mayan | USDC on HyperCore | Relayer fronts funds | Mayan describes deposits to the HyperCore spot or perps balance. |
| deBridge | Tokens on HyperEVM | Solver fronts funds | Works with HyperEVM. To trade, move USDC to the HyperCore balance afterwards. |
| LI.FI | Depends on the chosen bridge | Depends on the chosen bridge | The aggregator shows several routes. Check which bridge is selected. |
How to move Polygon to Hyperliquid
Intent bridge or CCTP app
- 1
Check your token
Native USDC on Polygon is easiest. If you hold POL, pick a bridge that swaps it to USDC on the way.
- 2
- 3
Choose where to credit
For trading you need the HyperCore balance (perps or spot). HyperEVM is for apps inside Hyperliquid.
- 4
Compare and sign
Check the amount you receive and the fee, make sure it is at least 5 USDC, and confirm the transaction on Polygon.
- 5
Check your balance
Open Hyperliquid with the same wallet address and confirm the USDC arrived on the right balance.
Fees and timing
Polygon gas usually costs a fraction of a cent and is paid in POL.
The main difference between routes is the bridge fee. Compare the final USDC amount on your account.
Common mistakes
- Sending USDC from Polygon straight to Hyperliquid's bridge contract on Arbitrum. It only accepts USDC on Arbitrum.
- Depositing less than 5 USDC. Such amounts are not credited.
- Crediting USDC to HyperEVM and expecting it on the trading account. These are separate balances and need a transfer inside Hyperliquid.
- Sending USDC from an exchange straight to a bridge address. Withdraw to your own wallet first.
- Sending USDC.e instead of native USDC. Circle CCTP only works with native USDC.
Before you transfer
- Send a small amount first, but no less than 5 USDC.
- Check which balance the funds will land on: HyperCore or HyperEVM.
- Open bridges and Hyperliquid only from official addresses.
