TRON to BNB Chain Bridge

Most people going from TRON to BNB Chain are moving USDT, from TRC20 to BEP20. USDT0 does not issue USDT on BNB Chain, so the usual tools are cross-chain swaps like Symbiosis, deBridge and NEAR Intents, or an exchange. TRX is swapped for BNB, not bridged. You need TRX on TRON and BNB on BNB Chain for fees.

Short answer

A TRON to BNB Chain is mostly about USDT. People hold USDT TRC20 on TRON and need USDT BEP20 on BNB Chain for an app, a payment or an exchange. The two tokens are not the same contract. USDT on TRON is issued by Tether, while USDT on BNB Chain is a Binance-Peg token. That is why the USDT0 Legacy Mesh, which works for TRON to Ethereum, does not help here: USDT0 does not issue USDT on BNB Chain (on BNB Chain the USDT0 network only carries Tether Gold, XAUT0).

So the job is done by services that take USDT on TRON and pay USDT, USDC or BNB on BNB Chain. Symbiosis has a dedicated TRC20 to BEP20 route. deBridge added TRON in August 2025, and NEAR Intents also supports TRON and BNB Chain. Many people simply use an exchange: deposit USDT on TRC20 and withdraw it on BEP20.

TRX to BNB is a swap, not a bridge. You give up TRX on TRON and receive BNB on BNB Chain. Either way, keep some TRX in your TRON wallet for energy, and plan to have a little BNB on arrival, because every transaction on BNB Chain is paid in BNB.

Why this route is difficult

TRON and BNB Chain are separate networks with different address formats and different fee systems. TRON addresses start with T and fees are paid in energy and bandwidth. BNB Chain uses 0x addresses and paid in BNB. A token on one cannot simply be sent to the other.

USDT is not the same token on both sides. On TRON it is issued by Tether. On BNB Chain the common USDT is a Binance-Peg token. USDT0 does not issue USDT on BNB Chain, so there is no issuer-run link between them. A bridge takes your USDT on TRON and pays out USDT on BNB Chain from its own or through a .

TRX has no widely used version on BNB Chain, so moving TRX value means selling it. and exchanges do this in one step and pay you BNB or a .

The real risks are practical: the wrong network on an exchange, no TRX left for energy, no BNB on arrival, and fake sites. Most problems on this route come from those, not from the bridges themselves.

Possible approaches

1Cross-chain swap (Symbiosis)

You send USDT on TRON and receive USDT, USDC or BNB on BNB Chain in one transaction.

Trade-offSimple and built for this pair. You rely on the Symbiosis contracts and , and large amounts can get a worse rate.

2Intent-based swap

A solver takes your USDT or TRX on TRON and pays BNB or a stablecoin on BNB Chain, then settles afterwards.

Trade-offFast and handles TRX to BNB in one step. The fee is inside the quote, so compare a few.

3Route aggregator

A service like Rango compares several bridges and shows the best quote it finds.

Trade-offSaves time comparing. Safety depends on the bridge it picks, so check which one fills your order.

4Centralized exchange

Deposit USDT or TRX on TRON, trade if needed, and withdraw on BNB Chain (BEP20).

Trade-offFamiliar and good for large sums. The exchange holds your funds for a while and may ask for identity checks.

How to move TRON to BNB Chain

These steps show how to move USDT TRC20 to BEP20 with Symbiosis. It has a ready route for this pair and can also pay out USDC or BNB. The same wallet and network checks apply to deBridge, NEAR Intents or an exchange.

  1. 1

    Get your BNB Chain address

Open MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby or another wallet. Your BNB Chain address starts with 0x and is the same as your Ethereum address. Plan to get a little BNB into this wallet, because you need it to move anything on BNB Chain.

  2. 2

Check your TRON wallet has TRX

Open TronLink or another TRON wallet. Sending USDT on TRON uses energy, which you pay for by burning TRX unless you have staked or rented energy. A USDT transfer typically burns about 6.5 to 13 TRX, and a bridge contract call can use more, so keep at least 20 to 30 TRX.

  3. 3

Open Symbiosis from a trusted link

Type symbiosis.finance yourself or use a bookmark. Fake bridge sites copy popular names and appear in search ads. Choose TRON as the source and BNB Chain as the destination, with USDT on both sides.

  4. 4

Connect both wallets and enter the amount

Connect TronLink for the TRON side and MetaMask or another EVM wallet for BNB Chain. Enter the USDT amount and look at the quote. It shows the fee and the exact amount you will receive. If you also need gas, you can pick BNB as the token you receive.

  5. 5

    Approve and send

Your TRON wallet may ask for two signatures: one to let the contract use your USDT, and one for the transfer. Check that the token is the official TRON USDT, contract TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t.

  6. 6

    Check it arrived

Most transfers land within a minute or two. Look up your address on BscScan. If USDT does not show in your wallet, add the BNB Chain USDT token using the contract shown on BscScan or in the bridge.

Fees and timing

On TRON you pay in energy and bandwidth, not a simple fee. If you have no staked energy, a USDT transfer burns roughly 6.5 TRX, or about 13 TRX when the receiving address or contract has never held USDT. Bridge contract calls can use more energy than a plain transfer, so let your wallet show the estimate before you sign.

The bridge fee is built into the quote. Symbiosis published an example from 28 September 2026 where 5,000 USDT on TRON turned into about 4,993 USDT on BNB Chain, roughly 0.3% in total including gas. deBridge charges a small fixed fee on TRON plus a percentage, and NEAR Intents solvers build their margin into the price. Swapping TRX usually costs more than moving a stablecoin, so compare a few quotes.

On BNB Chain you need BNB for gas. Fees there are usually a few cents for a token transfer. Exchanges charge a trading fee if you convert, plus a withdrawal fee for the BEP20 network, which is often small for USDT. Check the fee on the withdrawal screen, because it changes from exchange to exchange.

Common mistakes

  • Sending USDT from a TRON wallet with no TRX. The transfer fails or cannot start, because TRON needs TRX to pay for energy.
  • Withdrawing from an exchange on TRC20 or ERC20 when you wanted BEP20. Check the network name: BEP20 means BNB Chain.
  • Sending TRC20 USDT straight to a 0x address from your TRON wallet. A normal transfer cannot cross networks, so you need a bridge, a swap or an exchange.
  • Arriving on BNB Chain with USDT and no BNB. You cannot move or swap it until you add BNB for gas.
  • Using a bridge site found through an ad, a direct message or a support account that contacted you first. TRON users are a frequent target of fake bridges.
  • Trying to bridge USDC from TRON. Circle stopped minting USDC on TRON in February 2024 and no longer supports it there, so most routes are built around USDT.

Before you transfer

  • Keep TRX in your TRON wallet for energy, even if you only hold USDT.
  • Get a little BNB on arrival, or pick BNB as what you receive.
  • Check the network name on every exchange withdrawal. TRC20 means TRON, BEP20 means BNB Chain, ERC20 means Ethereum.
  • Do not expect USDT0 or USDC on this route. Plan around USDT, or swap into what you need.
  • For large amounts, compare a bridge quote with an exchange. A percentage fee can beat a flat fee, or the other way round.
  • Use bookmarks for bridge sites and ignore support accounts that message you first.

Frequently asked questions

Use a cross-chain swap such as Symbiosis, deBridge or NEAR Intents, or deposit USDT on TRC20 at an exchange and withdraw it on BEP20. Bridges usually finish in a minute or two.

No. The USDT0 Legacy Mesh connects TRON with USDT0 networks and other legacy USDT chains, but USDT0 does not issue USDT on BNB Chain. There the USDT0 network only carries Tether Gold (XAUT0).

Both are meant to be worth one dollar, but they are different tokens on different networks. USDT on TRON is issued by Tether. USDT on BNB Chain is a Binance-Peg token. You need a bridge, a swap or an exchange to move between them.

Use an swap like deBridge or NEAR Intents, a cross-chain swap like Symbiosis, or an exchange. You send TRX on TRON and receive BNB on BNB Chain.

TRON charges for use with energy. If you have not staked TRX for energy, the network burns TRX from your wallet to cover it.

Hardly anyone does. Circle stopped minting USDC on TRON in February 2024 and ended support for it there, and exchanges such as Kraken stopped USDC deposits on TRON. If you need USDC on BNB Chain, send USDT and choose USDC as what you receive.

Symbiosis and intent swaps usually take from under a minute to a few minutes. Exchanges often take 10 to 60 minutes, mostly waiting on their withdrawal process.
