Berachain Bridge

Berachain Bridge is the to Berachain named in the network's documentation. It is powered by LayerZero and at its launch in February 2025 accepted tokens from 13 networks.

Official website

How it works

  1. 1You choose the source network and token on the site and connect your wallet.
  2. 2The transfer is carried by LayerZero: the token is moved as an omnichain token () or through LayerZero-based , and a message to Berachain releases it there.
  3. 3Optionally, part of the amount can be swapped for a small amount of BERA on arrival to pay for .

Trust model

Security comes from LayerZero: each message is confirmed by the verifier networks (DVNs) configured for the token, and you trust that configuration and the token contracts. There is no -style proof back to Ethereum, because Berachain is a separate Layer 1.

Strengths

  • Official route recommended by Berachain.
  • in BERA on arrival, so you can transact right away.
  • Many source networks in one interface.

Limitations

  • Depends on LayerZero and on how each token's verification is configured.
  • Berachain is its own network, not a rollup: there is no Ethereum-backed withdrawal guarantee.
  • The exact list of supported networks and tokens changes; check it on the bridge before sending.
